James M. Shellow is a partner in the
firm Shellow & Shellow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Shellow has been a
successful criminal defense practitioner for over 40 years in both state and
federal courts. He is a former president of the National Association of
Criminal Defense lawyers, president of the Board of Regents of the National
College for Criminal Defense Lawyers, an elected member of the American Law
Institute and formerly served on the 7th Circuit Federal Model Instruction
Committee. He has lectured and published extensively in the field of criminal
law. Many of Mr. Shellow’s instructions have been given in actual state and
federal trials.
